This Privacy Policy explains how Nestory LLC, a Denver, Colorado company, collects, uses, and protects information when people use CasaKeep.

Plain-English version: CasaKeep collects what it needs to run the service. It does not sell user data, does not serve ads inside the app, and treats each inventory as belonging to the user.

Information collected

Account informationEmail address, optional display name, and secure authentication records.

Inventory informationRoom scans, item photos, receipts, item names, categories, brands, values, serial numbers, warranties, rooms, and locations.

Device, app, and usage informationDevice type, operating system, app version, crash reports, performance information, app events, feature usage, first opens, sessions, signups, scans, exports, purchases, and other general usage data.

Information not collectedNo precise GPS location, address book, outside browsing history, or data from other apps.

How information is used

To provide scanning, cataloging, cloud sync, and inventory management.
To run AI item detection and value-estimation features using photos taken in the app.
To improve stability, fix bugs, understand feature usage, and respond to support requests.
To process subscriptions through Apple or Google; CasaKeep does not store payment card details.
To measure app installs, app activity, campaign attribution, and marketing performance.

Analytics and measurement

CasaKeep uses analytics and measurement providers, including Google Analytics for Firebase and PostHog, to understand app installs, app performance, feature usage, activation, and marketing attribution.

These services may collect device, app, usage, event, and campaign information and may associate that information with app activity data collected for CasaKeep’s Google Analytics property. CasaKeep uses this information to improve the app, diagnose issues, measure whether marketing campaigns are working, and understand which features are useful to users.

CasaKeep does not sell personal inventory data and does not use analytics providers to serve ads inside the app.

AI and photo processing

Photos are processed to detect items, brands, categories, and estimated values.
AI processing is used for building the user’s personal inventory.
CasaKeep does not use user photos to train AI models.
CasaKeep does not use facial recognition or identify people in photos.

Storage, security, and sharing

CasaKeep uses encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, security reviews, and access controls. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so users should use a strong, unique password.

CasaKeep does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Data is shared only for limited needs such as service providers, analytics and measurement providers, payment processing, legal requirements, safety, or a business transfer where users would be notified.

User rights and choices

View account and inventory information in the app.
Export a complete inventory report.
Edit or correct item and account information.
Delete items, rooms, or the full account; account deletion removes personal data within 30 days.

Children, California residents, and international users

CasaKeep is not directed to children under 13. California residents may request information about collection and use, deletion of personal information, and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights. CasaKeep is operated from the United States, so international users may have data processed there.

Retention, changes, and contact

CasaKeep keeps data while an account is active. Deleted accounts have personal data removed within 30 days, while anonymous aggregated analytics may be retained. Policy updates may be posted in the app or on this page with a revised date.
